Dear teachers
Could you please review the following:
Person 1: I get afraid at night so I have to sleep with the lights turned on.
Person 2: You must live alone for you to get scared at your age.
VS
Person 2: You must be living alone for you to get scared at your age.

To me "You must live alone" sounds like a suggestion or a statement of fact and is not commenting on person one's current state. "You must be living alone" refers more to person one's current state.
