Difference between" Expand and Increase" Hello everyone! The number of new languages is expanding! The number of new languages is increasing! I am getting confused of differences between expand and Increase in the sentences above! Thanks in advance :D

These two sentences have the same meaning. "The number of new languages is increasing!" is probably the more typical of the two.
