What is the difference between 口実、言い訳、弁解?

I think the definition of “口実” is “prevarication”. For example. If you don't want to go to school today... you need to seek pretexts for skipping the classes, but it shouldn’t include lie. "弁解" is generally used to justify yourself. Contrastingly, "言い訳" is a synonymous, but It’s more spoken language than "弁解".
