CPE exam Hi, there I need your help!! I think I am not at the advanced level in English, but, just out of curiosity, I tried to write an essay about a topic that came up on a CPE test. The essay is about the two short texts I will link you to: http://www.flo-joe.com/cpe/students/writing/makeover/makeover8.htm MY ESSAY: Environmental and financial issues notwithstanding, driving a car is still people’s most preferred means of transportation. Even though the harm that cars and motorized vehicles in general can cause to the environment as a whole, not to mention the daily hassles such as traffic jams, the benefits and the commodity of using cars to get around and commute still outweighs the problems that cars can bring about, which may be holding up the frequency rate with which people choose them over other more environment-friendly means of transportation, such as bicycles. ... THE REST OF THE TEXT IS IN THE DETAILS... That said, measures in order to promote different ways of moving around becomes increasingly needed, not only due to the environmental harm that using a car entails, but also as a counteracting move to reduce the increasing overflow of cars on roads worldwide. As the first text suggests, it may turn out to be a sensible action trying to encourage people not to be too dependent on their cars. That can be attained, for instance, through bills aiming at increasing the number of cycle paths and walking trails. It should be combined with advertisements and a narrative, on the part of lawmakers and government leaders, that advocate the perks of walking and riding a bicycle, such as the health and financial benefits. Moreover, more strictness regarding traffic violations in conjunction with the higher taxes on gas and car lease payments can help bring people into leaving cars, thereby easing traffic congestion and car-related pollution. In brief, issues concerning cars and the problems that their overuse gives rise to, policy makers are not short of feasible measures that can counteract the increasing amount of cars on the roads across the world. Could you correct it? And if you were a CPE exam grader, which mark would you give me? On a scale of 1 to 10? PLEASE! Thank you very much, guys

You could've included more from the 2nd text and explain why people chose to own a car. You can do better :)
