Is learning Korean hard?
I want to learn Korean but I'm afraid that I won't do well.

Hi Ivana--
I currently live in Korea and have learned a little bit of the language. It is usually one of the hardest languages for English speakers to learn, but it is also worth it if you're willing to put in the time and effort! I have only met a few Americans who speak fluent Korean and I was really impressed. So the bottom line is this: yes it is very difficult, but it can also be very rewarding. And if you enjoy learning languages then it will be fun! Hope this helps.

I started learning because I enjoy Korean television. Having something fun to connect it with has made it easier. Start with the alphabet (Hangul) and that will make it easier if you can begin to sound out what you see. I am still a beginner but it's been fun.

Yes, it's 6 times harder than learning English. You need very strong motivation to learn Korean. But all that spent time and money worth it^^
