Yes, it's fine, and very natural. I myself might say something with a slightly different meaning: "The best thing in the future is that kids won't need to go to school." As a parent, though, I don't like the conventional idea that all children always hate going to school. In the United States some children, including my eight-year-old grandson, do like school. In fact most children seem to have a desperate desire to learn. Alas, schools don't always nurture that desire.
