"Music Transcription" in Japanese
Hey, I've got a question.
How do you say "transcription" in Japanese, as in hearing and writing down the notes of an existing piece of music?
I found the word 音写, but this seems to be more like transliteration.
Also, how would you say it in verb form? So: to transcribe something.
Thanks in advance!

That's 採譜, a formal word.
We say 耳コピ(copy by ears) in a casual way.
Example:
Youtubeにある曲を耳コピした。
