What does "as" means and which part of speech in this sentence? I do not know the meaning of "as the wind whistled in his ears" and the function as a part of speech of "as" in this sentence(article). Does anyone please explain and tell me the translation? With a few flaps of his arms, Kip Fenton soared into the New York City skyline, flying around a forest of skyscrapers as the wind whistled in his ears. Thank you.
