collo vs. con lo
1. Maria è nello studio collo zio.
2. Maria è nello studio con lo zio.
Are both correct? Which do you use?

"collo" is used today only in the spoken language (on regional basis). "con lo" is to be used in written Italian.

Both are correct but the second is better.

Both are correct but I have the feeling in contemporary italian we tend to use CON LO more frequently.
