How do you bargain in Chinese? (like 太贵了) I know some words like: 这是太贵了。。But other than that, I virtually had no idea what to say..

A slightly softer way to say 'too expensive' is to say 这个有点儿贵,我多想一想,谢谢你。Then when you walk away, hopefully the salesperson will make a better offer. Just like when I was shopping for shoes the other day, I said the same thing but in English, "oh, this pair is little bit expensive for me, I might have a bit more of a think about it, thanks anyway". Then the salesperson said, "hold on a sec, let me just do a quick check on these... oh, actually, I just checked the system and I think I'll be able to give you a 20% discount on these, I'll just need my manager's approval." Bargaining is fun, especially when you do it in a nice and polite way!

1. 老板你们家的东西不错,我会介绍我朋友来这里买,可以打个折吗? 2. 那个最后一双了,可以打个折出清吗? 3. 今天我是第一个客人,可以来个开市大吉啊,以打个折吗? Good luck for your bargain.

that's a good question . there some more sentence for bargain like "便宜一点儿吧!i hope it can be cheaper ! ;"打点折吧,我以后经常来你家买东西。"please give me more discount and i promise to do more business with you in the future. "我的钱不够,便宜一点儿吧" can we make our deal cheaper because i didn't have enough money in my pocket right now . "你这么漂亮/帅,便宜一点吧"you look so beautiful/handsome , can we make our deal cheaper ? Never mind to say something nice to sellers since everyone like it .and it is very normal bargain like this in China. they will feel happy even though you don't make your deal at last . good luck!

"太贵了"(too expensive) is a bit harsh. A more euphemistic way is “贵了点”“便宜点吧?”.
