habit or tradition?
a visit to the bathhouse (with old friends) once in a year or twice in a year, is habit or tradition?

It could be both, but you probably mean "tradition". A "habit" is often used for something a bit less planned and more routine than this kind of special custom or tradition. But you could use "habit" too.
