Is there specific verb to describe this action ? Wrote or painted casually but destroyed someone else's thing. Example: My kid painted over my passport every single page. Thank you for your any help.

You could also use the verb 'to deface' My kid defaced my passport.' More formal than Obama's answer. Best wishes Bob
