Hi, there
Could you help me with some questions? Please, I need help.
If you can, here they are:
1) Hi, there
In an episode of Everybody hates Chris, a man says:
"Hey, Little dude's father from across the street."
Is from across the street referring to "father"? Could you say "Hey little dude from across the street's father"?
2) Dows it sound odd to say "do a hike/trek"? Like: "I don't know how you had the guts to do that trek/hike up the hill"
3)Does it sound odd to use "up high" in this sentence? "Keep it somewhere up high, so kids can't get at it."
4) Let us say you are lighting/turning on a griddle and someone is pouring oil on (or OVER??? or across?) the the flat surface. Does it sound odd to say "Pour oil as far as here.", while you are pointing to the griddle?
Thank you very much!
