Expressing the reasons of choosing something
Hi there!
I'm writing a formal letter and I want to explain "the reasons of choosing something" but I wanted to be at the beginning of each paragraph.
so are these sentences correct?
1- The main reason (why?) I chose to......
2- With regard to the reason of opting for .....
3- In regards why I narrowed my choice down to .....
are there other ways to express it ?
Thank you

Your suggestion 3 is not good English. You could try things along the lines of:
I chose (to do) X because ...
Whilst it may not be immediately obvious why I chose X, the reason is quite simple ...
Presented with a choice between X and Y, I opted for X for the simple reason that ...
By the way, it should be "the reason FOR choosing something", not "the reason OF choosing something"
