From the Internet, l know that'takeout' means the food you take out from restaurants, but I don't know how to use it. Is the sentence below correct or not?

It is correct but I feel like takeout is more of a slang term. In my country we say 'takeaways' which is the same thing but always used informally. You could say
"My friends and I are getting takeout tonight"
"Every friday we get takeout"
