Are the sentences correct? Being determined to give up smoking,he throw away all of his cigarettes. A good advertisement not only have attractive scenes,but also provide useful information.

Not quite correct. "Determined to give up smoking, he THREW away all of his cigarettes." (No being at the beginning.) You could also say "Because he was determined to give up smoking, he threw away all his cigarettes." But the first option is better, less wordy. "A good advertisement not only HAS attractive scenes, but also PROVIDES useful information." Hope this helps!
