There is a difference in meaning between "Having taken" and "Being taken".
"Being xxxx" is often used in sentences constructed in the passive voice. In this construction, the emphasis is on the person or thing receiving the action.
Example:
The bully was taking the purse away. (Active voice)
The purse was being taken away by the bully. (Passive voice)
"Having xxxxx" emphasise on the person or thing doing to action. The action was done in the past.
Example: Having completed his work, he went to bed.
Thus, your second option looks more logical grammatically speaking.
