Using negations in French
Are there other negations except "ne...pas" "ne...personne" "ne...jamais" "ne...plus de" "ne...rien"?
I noticed this sentence "Je peux pas le toucher." in a movie. But why isn't there "ne" before peux? Is it because people omit "ne" in colloquial French? Thank you for answering.

= "not any (+noun [m.sg./f.sg./m.pl./f.pl])".
En outre, il y a une expression «ne... que...», mais ça veut dire «seulement (only)» au lieu de la négation.
Par contre, la négation de «ne... que...» est «ne... pas que...» (ou «ne... pas seulement...»).

When french people speak, we generally don't say "ne", it's a little bit informal but saying "ne" sounds very formal also.
there is also the negations "ne..ni...ni" (She neither speaks nor reads Turkish = Elle ne sait ni parler ni lire le turc) and "ne..guère" (it's negation that means "not..much", il ne travaille guère = he doesn't work much)
"ne .. point" = rare form of "ne.. pas", we find it in litterature most of the time, pretty old just lire "ne.. guère"
