Hi there! yes they are both ok here With any verbs of the senses: see / hear / feel / overhear you can use a bare infinitive or an 'ing form. The 'ing' form is a lot better for slightly longer events, so may be better in the particular sentence. Other examples include: 'I saw a man walking' 'I heard her crying' The bare infinitive form is better for really quick events lasting only 1 second or 2: 'I saw him fall over' - it was very quick 'I saw hi score a goal' - again very quick only 1 or 2 seconds Hope this helps!
