How would you say it another way?
I'll pull my weight.
Does it mean,
I'll do my part.

"Pull my own weight" can mean what you said, "I'll do my part". You can also say it when you want to express your independence. For example:
- I pull my own weight when I'm working
You can also replace "pull" with "carry".
I hope this helps!
