Is bread made ( ) flour? Which prep. should I write in the 1st sentence please? Of or From?

Bread is made "from" flour because the flour has been transformed to the point where the bread is no longer recognizable as flour. A table is made "of" wood because it is still recognizable as being wood.

I would say "from". It's not wrong to say "of" but I would probably say "bread is made out of flour" before I would say "bread is made of flour".
