What's the difference between 'satisfactory' and 'satisfying'? Thank you!

"Satisfactory" means that something meets certain standards: "The committee found the performance of the equipment to be satisfactory." "Satisfying" means fulfilling a want or need: "A long drink of water satisfied my thirst."
