Do 誘う and 招く work differently?
They both means ''to invite, to ask'' in the dictionary. How can i distinguish them?

誘う can be used casually, but 招く is used formally, I guess. For example, when you invite someone to formal dinner or party, you have to use 招く.
Also, 招く has another different meaning as well. 招く is also used when something caused a bad result or effect, so 招くmeans 'to invite' and 'to cause'.
