Just a scare/ fright.do they make sense ? In Spanish we say: Fue solo in susto.o To-do quedó en un susto We say this when we expected something very wrong ( accident for ex.) But in the end nothing happened.we just felt scared in advance. How would you say it ? It just gave us a scare ???? Thank you

There are some ways to say it, but I always use a complement at the first part. Ex: At the end... it was just a hard time At the end... it was just a frightened time Hope it helps.
