For questions like this - please put in the context. It will make it a lot easier for people to help you.
These are lyrics from a song by the Chainsmokers. Here, it is a literal meaning. They are refering to stories about Achilles (who is a hero from Greek mythology) that mentions gold* and stories about Hercules (also a hero from Greek mythology) that mentions his talents (probably his physical strength). Another word for talents is "gifts."
The next two lines mention modern heroes and stories about them.
*Off the top, I can't think of any stories about Achilles and gold, so I'm not sure which story they're referring to, but it makes the song rhyme.

These words probably have their ordinary dictionary meanings. There is no other context and so there is no reason to think that they have deeper meanings.
