What is the difference between classical vs classic literature?
If I am going to mention some popular books written in 19th - early 20th-century what word (classic/classical) I should use? Thanks in advance.

In the European canon, "classical" refers to the ancient Greek and Roman era.
You should use "classic" if you are referring to seminal or iconic works of a later era.

I agree with Su.Ki. You have to notice which word is commonly used in different contexts e.g. classic cars, classical music.
