"À bientôt "and "à plus tard "
What is the difference between these two expressions?
They both mean "see you later", don't they?
I'm learning French in two different web courses, where I hit these expressions.
It'd be helpful if you answered my question.

"A plus tard" : means that you are going to see the person during the same day.
"A bientôt" : is more generic. Just to say that you'd like to see the person soon, not necessary in the same day.
