theft , mugging , robbery , burglary ... ¿what's the difference between them?

Theft- robar, take something from a person or from their house or car
mugging - to hurt someone in the street, hacer daño, sometimes is also a robbery
robbery - theft, take something from a person or house. To rob a person usually means with threat of knife or gun.
burglary - theft from a house, usually without anyone knowing

"theft" - Es un hurto; apoderamiento de lo ajeno, sin violencia o amenaza de violencia.
"robo" - Apoderamiento de lo ajeno con violencia o amenaza de violenica.
"mugging" - Es un atraco/robo en la calle o en otro lugar público. Implica el recurso a la violencia o una amenaza de violencia.
"burglary" - Es un allanamiento de una morada u otro tipo de edificio con la intención de cometer cualquier delito: hurto, incendio provocado, secuestro, violación; etc.
