Direct Pronouns in spanish viste a juan? my answer: Si, yo lo vi. why is this incorrect?

Of course, Giancarlo is right, the punctuation is wrong.

If you're absolutely strict about writing, it should actually be: ¿Viste a Juan? Sí, (yo) lo vi. In general terms, I'd say that it isn't wrong but I guess that it all depends how strict you are about punctuation and accent marks.
