Knowledge, skills, competences
Hi guys,
can you give me examples of "knowledge", "skills" and "competences"?
I would like to know the real meaning of each word.
Thank you!

Knowledge is something you KNOW in your mind. Like if I say I know 1+1=2.
Skills are things you have to learn to DO. A skill can be painting.
Competence is ability to do something successfully. This one is harder to explain. If there is a task, maybe 5 people can try to do it but only 1 person can complete it properly. That person is competent.
