"The Bye-Bye Sky High IQ Murder Case". It is a name of one of episode of crime fiction television series (movie title) Columbo. I understand the phrase "sky high IQ murder case". But why is the phrase "bye-bye" used here?

I'm not sure if "bye-bye" refers to the murder plot in the episode, or to the fact that this was the final episode for that season. Maybe both! :)
