How do you say "goodbye" and "bye"?
Could you tell me formal and informal ways to say those words?

"Bye" is "ciao" (informal). "Goodbye" is "arrivederci" (more formal than "ciao"). "Addio" stands for a definitive farewell.
You can use "ci vediamo!" too (informal - literally it stands for "see you!").
Hope it helps,
