WHETHER +ING - WHEN +TO
I have two questions tonight.
1)Can you think of any example in which the ING form follows the word "whether"?
2) Is the grammar structure in the following examples common? if so, in which country?
- Have you decided when to have the barbecue?
- He didn't tell me when to be back at the store.
- I wasn't sure who to ask for advice.
Thanks!

1) One possible example would be: "Whether running or swimming, I am always active at night."
2) All three of those are grammatically correct and perfectly natural sounding. The structures are pretty neutral and I don't think that they'd be any more common in one country than another.
