Its ways are so mysterious that we cannot hope to know and understand them.
In the future, more people will help you if you provide context, or at least tell us what "it" refers to.

Are you sure that you wrote that correctly? At the moment, it doesn't mean anything. If it was "*Its* ways are past finding out", then the person means that they're past the point where they can figure out how this thing works, so they either cannot or shouldn't try.
