What are the basic greetings in China?

hello!
i think luciusverus has a point, but anyway, in addition to cherry's answer, i've learned that the common greetings in china is "chi guo le ma?" meaning - "have you eaten?". Very authentic yet it's actually how they address their greetings among each other.

These are some of the basic greetings in Chinese Mandarin
Ni hao? 你好? you good ( literally ) = How are you ?
Nimen hao ? how are you ( addressed to 2 persons or more ) 你们好?
Ni hao ma? 你好吗?
Wo hen hao ,ni ne ? 我很好,你呢 ?= I am very good and you ?
zaijian 再见 = good bye
zaoan 早安 = good morning
zao shang hao 早上好 = good morning
