Could you please correct my sentences?
1) I’ll take coffee and I’ll come back.
2) The clock says 5 minutes to eight.
3) I didn’t understand one moment in the story. (It’s like I missed the point)
4) Mrs Jones washed the dinner things and then did some sewing.
5) This piece of paper said 'Mother.—Wake me up at 7 a.m.—Father.' (It’s like “This piece of paper says, “Mother.—Wake me up at 7 a.m.—Father.”but in the Past).
6) He came back home really tired.

1) Nothing wrong here, but you could say "I'll take coffee and I'll come back to pick it up." Just to clarify.

5) If you are telling someone about the note this is totally fine. "The piece of paper said, "Mother, wake me up at 7am. -Father (or dad)."
6) He came back home really tired.
