pitch-kettled Hello, Is anyone knowledgeable with the phrase noted above? I get this from the sentence, 'you are a faithful steward. but you leave me pitch-kettled.' Appreciate your answer.

From what I've researched, leaving someone pitch-kettled is old slang for leaving someone confused or confounded.
