Do you call the announce system on an airplane "PA"?
Is a "PA" used in other public transportations? e.g. The train conducter got on the PA to announce the next stop.

Yes, you can call it a PA. It stands for 'public address.' PA systems are not only found in airplanes but as you said, in buses and schools and churches as well.

-> Tannoy = type of public address system.
Announcements made over a tannoy are sometimes indecipherable.
PA announcements can be difficult to follow in another language.
PA is fine.
