Yeah, there's not really a problem with that sentence.
I think it may sound more natural, though, if you said "I'll give you a challenge...tell me something funny, right now!"
Since you haven't said the challenge (or given whoever the challenge) yet, it's more natural to add will (I'll). You're about to give whoever the challenge, but haven't, so I'll sounds better.
