Is this ok? I'm a grade 3 student. (I mean I'm in the third grade.)
Thanks

If you're in the third grade you can just say "I'm a third-grader." But the third grade in the U.S. is for little little kids. If you mean it's your third year in high school/college/grad school etc. You can just say "I'm a third year in [whatever school]."
