'maimed pronounced in British English as 'meind'?
Hi,
are all verbendings -med pronounced as 'nd?
maimed - mɜind / meɪnd
aimed - eind /ɜɪnd
I do not know the difference between ipa ɜ, e and i,ɪ, but does the 'med become 'nd instead of 'md?
Thank you

I listened to it and the speaker is definitely saying maimed. There is no letter N. I think you are just mishearing it.
Edit: I made a recording for you and was going to send you the link via PM, but you do not have private messaging enabled. Please could you enable private messaging to allow me to send you the link to the recording.
