Acrostic poems: fun and helpful!
Acrostic poems can be really a great way to practice writing in the target language. And above all, they are so much fun and can be really creative and enjoyable.
So, what is an acrostic poem?
An acrostic poem uses the letters in a topic word to begin each line.
All lines of the poem should relate to or describe the topic word (definition taken from readwritethink.org)
Here is an example: the topic word here is ITALKI
I adore this place
Thousands of people from
All over the world
Looking for a language partner, exchanging
Knowledge and having fun
I love this place because here I feel at home
