Hola Zachary, Para mi no son los mismo. La nariz es parte del hocico. Según RAE: Parte más o menos saliente de la cara de algunos animales, en que están la boca y las narices. http://dle.rae.es/srv/search?m=30&w=hocico

Normalmente se dice hocico, pero también podrías decir 'la nariz de mi perro' para referirte a los orificios nasales.
