The meaning of "word-chopper" I just encountered the word “word-chopper” used about people in a Youtube video. I couldn’t find it in a dictionary. “I saw genuine passionate Marxists with my own eyes. They were not word-choppers. They were not snide post-modernists.” At around 1:02, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4BENQ9tv-o Are you familiar with that word? Does it mean a hair-splitter? Thanks for your help!

I think it means the same thing as "to dice your words". The people who do not chop or dice their words, are people who speak plainly, without fancy or complicated words. These people give blunt, direct explanations, no vague or hidden meaning in their explanations.
