How would you interpret “as well” in the context? How would you interpret “as well” in the first sentence of the second passage “And it is odd as well…”? Thanks. And it’s from My Little Boy written by the famous Danish writer Carl Ewald. the context: It is said that I am not an idiot. And it is odd as well, when one thinks of how many idiots there are and how many forms of insanity---while the rest of mankind are so few in number, so much in agreement and so essentially similar that they get bored to death whenever they happen to meet. Perhaps that is why they drink or write books and plays, or go from one woman to another.
