What does ducking one's eyes mean? The following is a description of two dancers. She was beaming at her partner, almost flirting. Now she would duck her eyes at him, now step close as if to tease with her touch. What does 'duck her eyes' mean here?

To duck her eyes is not really used, though she might "bat her eyelids"

"to duck' means to lower so I would say that she 'lowered her eyes' rather than 'looked away'. There is a subtle difference.

It just means "quickly look away from the partner", as a flirtatious gesture during the dance.
