Text a message
Hi everybody,
While I know for sure "I am sending a text message" is correct, I have a doubt about the sentence "I am texting a message".
Can you say it?
Thanks for your help!

« I'm typing a message. » sounds better to me.
« I'm texting you/her/whomever. » sounds more natural in my opinion.
Hope that helps.

While it may sound redundant in some situations, it's not wrong. You can say it.
