These results do not contradict the evidence of commonness of denominal verbs with metaphorical meanings in British business press which confirms our hypothesis.

I think the sentence would be clearer and more graceful as: The results do not contradict the evidence showing that denominal verbs with metaphorical meanings are common in the British business press, thus confirming our hypothesis.
