Who am I
-Jay is never late for school, is he? -[Yes, he is./No, he isn't.]He is always earlier than others.
Hopefully someone could help.
I think this is quite tricky. The answer could be " No, he isn't." But I'm not sure. What is your opinion?

The answer is no, he isnt. This is because tou have used the negative "never".
John isn't ever late for school.

That right, Helene. In Chinese, we say yes to confirm the statement. LOL

It's "no, he isn't" because the answer is "no", so you're repeating "no" to confirm. In Chinese, you'd say "yes" because you agree with the statement. It's confusing! :-D
