Hey there! 'look forward to (something or doing something)' = to excitedly anticipate something = to think of (a future event) with pleasurable, eager anticipation. Examples: 1) ''I'm looking forward to graduation.'' 2) ''I'm looking forward to visiting my family this Christmas.'' 3) ''Thank you for calling me to schedule an interview. I look forward to it.'' 4) ''I'm looking forward to your visit next week.'' 5) ''We all look forward to your new book.'' Hope that helps!

Both are correct! I'm looking forward to the weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing you.
